Public Disclosure of Potential Non-Procurement Conflict of Interest

Recently, we had a relative of two staff members apply for our Emergency Rental Assistance Program. Other staff who aren’t related to the applicant, enter each applicant into a database that is housed through the state funding source of the program. Eligibility and determination of the program benefits are decided on by the funding source and not the relatives of the applicant or anyone else in our agency. The relatives of the applicant have no ability to change, modify, or determine benefit eligibility for any applicant, much less the relative applying.

We are asking the public at large to comment if “potential conflict exists” within 7 days of this notice in writing.

This can be dropped off in person or by mailing to Daniel Pitino Shelter, Attention: Harry Pedigo, Executive Director, 501 Walnut Street, Owensboro, KY 42301
